MKE WAVE DEFEAT TACOMA STARS; STAY UNDEFEATED.

Next Home Game: Saturday, December 16th, 2017, *7:05pm at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

The Six-Time Champion Milwaukee Wave (7-0) managed to stay undefeated after handing the Tacoma Stars a loss at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena Saturday night. Final score, Milwaukee Wave 8, Tacoma Stars 4..

“The effort tonight was fantastic,” said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. “The guys played with a lot of energy and heart from start to finish this weekend. You’ve got to give it up to both the St. Louis Ambush and Tacoma Stars, both really good teams, but it was the fans that put us over the top.”

The first half was unbelievable close with MKE Wave goals from Hans Denissen (Max Ferdinand) and Max Ferdinand (Robert Renaud) but Tacoma got the upper hand with a goal in the final seconds of the second quarter from Troy Peterson (Ramone Palmer).

The second half was a different story as the Milwaukee Wave re-grouped, re-aligned and came out swinging, quickly pulling away from the competition with a pair of goals from Daniel Mattos (both Max Ferdinand), a score from Andre Hayne (Angel Curiel) , Robert Renaud  (Andre Hayne) and Ian Bennett (Robert Renaud)..

“We’re sitting in a good spot right now but we can’t get lazy,” said Oliviero. “St. Louis has a lot of pride and are playing much better than they were at the beginning of the season. They are slowly getting it together and it’s just a matter of time before they start clicking and start scoring. We just don’t want it to be against us and in our building next Saturday.”

The Milwaukee Wave take on the St. Louis Ambush, next Saturday night, December 16th, 7:05pm at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
