MILWAUKEE (June 8, 2010) - Join Milwaukee Wave players at two World Cup parties this Saturday as the United States takes on England in the Americans' first Group C match. Come to The Highbury Pub, 2322 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., or Mo's Irish Pub, 10842 W. Bluemound Road, from noon to 4 p.m. and cheer on the USA as they look to get out of the group stage for the first time since 2002. Prizes will be given away at each location and players will be available for autographs and photos. There is no admission charge at either location. Kickoff for the match is at 1:30 p.m.
The Milwaukee Wave professional indoor soccer team is the longest-running professional soccer team in the country. The Wave completed their 26th season by winning the Major Indoor Soccer League regular season championship. Their summer camp program is the largest team-operated program in the country.
