The Wave’s Luan Oliveira was named to the MISL Team of the Week. The rookie led the Wave as they rallied past the Chicago Soul on Saturday. Oliveira had two goals and an assist as the Wave overcame a five-point halftime deficit against the Soul to win.
Also named to the Team of the Week was Bryan O’Quinn (Syracuse), Leo Gibson (Missouri), Ryan Hall (Syracuse) Doug Miller (Rochester) and Jamar Beasley (Syracuse). Doug Miller is the MISL Player of the Week after his record-typing performance on Saturday night.
The Wave plays at home Saturday at 3 p.m. against Rochester. A special Chipotle dinner and a game package is available for Saturday’s game. It includes four burritos, sodas, and game tickets. USL acquired the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) in May, 2011 and began operating North America’s most storied and tradition-rich professional indoor soccer league for the 2011-12 season.
