LEITE RETURNS TO THE LINEUP ON SATURDAY

Marcio Leite, MVP of the Championship Series last year, will return to the lineup for the Milwaukee Wave for the first time this season as the Wave is looking to capitalize on their momentum after their recent win over Chicago. The Wave will host the Rochester Lancers at the US Cellular Arena on Saturday, December 8 at 3:00 pm.

The Wave faced a 5-0 deficit at the end of the first half against Chicago last weekend. The team turned it on after halftime scoring 14 points in the second half. Rookie Luan Oliveira, who has been a key contributor this season with nine points, had two goals. Marcelo Fontana scored a goal in his first game back in a Wave uniform contributing to the 14-9 victory.

The Wave look to get a huge boost when 2011-12 All-MISL Second Team and MVP of the 2012 MISL Championship series, Leite returns.  Leite finished the 2011-12 regular season with 55 points, and led all scorers in the playoffs with 14. Leite has missed the first month of the season due to injury, but now comes back to give the Wave another scoring threat to the lineup.

The Rochester Lancers have had an up and down season so far, with their record standing at 3-3.  So far, the team has found success at home with a 3-1 record, but has struggled on the road losing both games. The team split their games this weekend, defeated Missouri 24-17 on Saturday behind a six goal, 12 point night by veteran Doug Miller, who now leads the MISL in points with 28 and total goals with 13. The Lancers then fell to Syracuse 23-8, although Garrett Pettis did have a hat trick for the team.  The team has also received big contributions from forwards Mauricio Salles and Jeremy Ortiz.

Make-A-Wish Wisconsin (http://wisconsin.wish.org/) is the BMO Harris Bank Jersey Program charity for the game.  The first 5,000 fans will receive a bookmark schedule courtesy of Nelson’s Automotive.  Sponsoring Sunday’s game is Froedert, FM 106, and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

A special Chipotle dinner and a game package is available for Saturday’s game.  It includes four burritos, sodas, and game tickets.  Season tickets, flex plans and single-game tickets are also on sale. For more information on tickets visitwww.milwaukeewave.com or call 414.224.9283.
