The Major Indoor Soccer League announced today MISL Team of the Week, which included Wave’s Marcio Leite and Luan Oliveira.
The Milwaukee Wave also had a pair of players selected to the Team of the Week, with Luan Oliveira earning his second consecutive appearance after an eight-point night led the Wave to a 14-12 victory against the Rochester Lancers last Thursday. He is joined by Marcio Leite, whose five-point night was capped by the game-winning goal with 2:04 to play in a 12-11 win against the Syracuse Silver Knights.
The Wichita Wings forward Frederico Moojen was named the league’s Player of the Week as he recorded 11 points in a pair of wins for the Wings as they moved into the playoff positions.
