The Major Indoor Soccer League announced that Chicago Soul midfielder Carlos Farias has been named the league’s Player of the Week for the 13th week of the 2012-13 season. Farias had 20 points in three games this past week, setting a new league record for 3-pointers in a game in the process.

Joining Farias on the MISL Team of the Week were a pair of players from the Milwaukee Wave, with Marcel Feenstra and Luan Oliveira being honored after helping their side’s winning streak reach 14 games. Feenstra recorded 14 saves on Friday night as the Wave edged out Wichita, and Oliveira had a four-goal game to lead his side past the Soul.
