The Milwaukee Wave begins their quest for their third straight MISL Championship this week, but the team has much going on before Game 1 in Missouri.
First, Tuesday March 5th at 2 p.m. the Wave will be taking part in Children’s Hospital Day at the Herma Heart Center Lobby (9000 W Wisconsin Ave Milwaukee, WI 53226) located inside Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Pillow pet toys and snuggies courtesy of Bridge Logistics Services, Inc. will be given away to the children, with Milwaukee Wave players appearing to take pictures and interact with the children
On Wednesday March 6th there will be a team meet and greet at Quaker Steak and Lube located at 4900 S Moorland Rd New Berlin, WI from 5:30-7:00. There will be Milwaukee Wave giveaways, player autographs and pictures, and much more throughout the event. Those who wear their soccer jerseys or any other spirit wear will receive a 15% discount on the bill.
There will be a viewing party for Game 1 of the MISL Playoff Series between the Wave and Missouri Comets on March 7th.
The viewing party will begin at 7 p.m. and the game starts at 7:35 p.m. From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
There will be $1 quarter pound burgers (add-ons extra) and $1.25 7oz Miller High Life’s.
On Saturday March 9th at 7 p.m. it will be Women’s Soccer Casino Night at the Peck Welcoming Center at the Milwaukee County Zoo with members of your Milwaukee Wave. If you sign up prior to the event cost will be $45, at the door $50, and $35 group rate for two or more people. Those who attend will receive $300 worth of free gambling chips (with the opportunity to buy more). There will be music, dancing, gambling, plus free beer.
