Mark Litton
Goalkeeper Coach/Armada Head Coach
Mark joined the Milwaukee Wave organization during the 2004-05 season as the team's first goalkeeper coach. In addition, during the 2007-08 season, Mark became the head coach of the Armada FC, which is the Milwaukee Waves reserve team. He is also the current goalkeeper coach for the mens soccer team at UW-Parkside. In 2008, Mark was hired by the US National Futsal team as their goalkeeper coach, and accompanied the team to the 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Rio de Janiero, Brasil.
Mark attended the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and started for three years at goalkeeper. As a senior, Mark was selected as an NAIA (now NCAA Division II) All-American. His 14 shutouts in 1988 still ranks fifth nationally at the NCAA Division II level, and his .64 shutout percentage that season still ranks ninth all-time. After graduating from UW-Parkside in 1989 with a degree in communications, he moved indoors with the Milwaukee Wave, signing a developmental contract for the 1989-90 season. Mark spent four indoor seasons with the Wave as a reserve goalkeeper.
Off the soccer field, Mark works as a Senior Corporate Recruiter for Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance Company of Wisconsin. He has also been certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer, specializing in speed training and plyometrics. Mark and his wife Catherine live in Milwaukee.
