BENNETT, FEENSTRA ON MISL TEAM OF THE WEEK

MILWAUKEE (Feb. 11, 2014) — Ian Bennett and Marcel Feenstra of the Milwaukee Wave were named to the Major Indoor Soccer League Team of the Week after Milwaukee swept a weekend double-dip from Syracuse and Rochester.

Bennett moved into a tie for the MISL scoring lead with 55 points after netting five goals over the weekend, including four on Sunday in a 15-7 win over Rochester. Bennett's skipping 3-point goal from far outside the yellow line tied the game 5-all with 3.3 seconds left in the first half, and sent the Wave on their way to victory.
Feenstra was credited with 48 saves over the two games, playing every minute in goal as he improved his season record to 10-1. Feenstra is second in the MISL with a 10.55 points-allowed average. Defender Victor Quiroz and forward Nick Perera were named honorable mention.

The Wave are 13-2 and host Pennsylvania at 2 p.m. Sunday at the U.S. Cellular Arena. Milwaukee plays at home in four of its last five regular season games.

Mike Lookingland of Baltimore was named the Player of the Week for scoring five goals in two road victories over the weekend. Also on the team are Machel Millwood of Syracuse and Joey Tavernese of Rochester.
