HAT TRICKS PUT LEITE, OLIVEIRA ON TEAM OF THE WEEK

MILWAUKEE (Feb. 18) — The Milwaukee Wave's Marcio Leite and Luan Oliveira were named to the Major Indoor Soccer League Team of the Week after separately recording hat tricks on Sunday in a victory over the Pennsylvania Roar.

Leite picked up a 3-point goal, two 2-point goals and his league-leading 19th assist in the 30-4 victory, marking only the fifth time in the team's 30-year history it reached 30 points. Oliveira scored his three goals in the first half, one of which was a 3-pointer.

Syracuse forward Machel Millwood has been named the MISL Player of the Week. Millwood had a five-point night, including what proved to be the game-winning goal, as the Silver Knights clinched their first playoff berth in club history with victory against the Rochester Lancers.

Also on the team are Bo Jelovac of Syracuse, Leo Gibson of Missouri and goalkeeper Danny Waltman of Missouri.

Milwaukee (14-2) visits St. Louis at 7:35 p.m. Friday at Family Arena. That game can be seen live on YouTube. The Wave return home Sunday for a matchup with the Missouri Comets (10-6), who have handed the Wave their only two defeats of the season.
