The Milwaukee Wave of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) has announced the signings of Defender, Judson McKinney, and Midfielder/Forward, Carlos Munoz.

McKinney signed to a two-year contract and Munoz to a three-year contract.

Judson McKinney’s rookie season in the MISL didn’t start out has he hoped. In his second game with the now defunct Chicago Soul FC, McKinney suffered a broke humerus bone in his left arm against the Baltimore Blast. The young defender crashed his left arm into the boards in the first quarter and was assisted off the field by a stretcher. Before his season ending surgery, McKinney had 3 shots on goal.

“Judson showed extremely well last season during the MISL Combine in Kansas City.” said Head Coach Keith Tozer. “Even though his season was cut short last year, we feel with his technical ability, physical presence and great work ethic, he will be a great addition to our defense.”

Like McKinney, Carlos Munoz also played his rookie season with the Chicago Soul FC. Playing in 27 games, he had 28 goals with 9 assists. Munoz was also selected to join the U.S. Futsal National Team, who went on to win the Four Nations Tournament over the summer in Newcastle, England.

“Carlos will be a great addition to our offense as he was a very dangerous player last year in Chicago totaling 69 points on the season,” said Head Coach Keith Tozer. “Carlos finished 2nd in voting for MISL Rookie of the Year and we feel with Marico Leite, Luan Oliveira and now Carlos, we have a dangerous trio of attacking midfielders.”
