MKE WAVE ADDS ST. LOUIS; VS. BALTIMORE BLAST FRIDAY NIGHT

Your Six-Time Champion MKE Wave has acquired target forward Stefan St. Louis (San Lou-ee) from the St. Louis Ambush in exchange for cash considerations. St. Louis played a total of 9 games with the Ambush this season before being traded to Milwaukee, tallying 6 goals and 6 assists.

“Stefan has really come into his own the last couple of years,” said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. “He was an instrumental part in the Missouri Comets winning the championship last year and he had a very solid season in St. Louis. He’s just another great piece to the MKE Wave roster.”

“I’m happy to be joining the legendary MKE Wave organization and can’t wait to get on the pitch,” said St. Louis. “I look forward to playing in front of the fans and help the team bring home another championship.”

St. Louis played part of the 2011-12 indoor season with the PASL’s Detroit Waza Flo, signed with the Missouri Comets halfway through the 2012-2013 indoor season and join the St. Louis Ambush at the beginning of the inaugural Major Arena Soccer League season.

He played college soccer at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan, started 54 of 59 games and earned enough honors to fill up his trophy chest. He was named All-Newcomer and Mid-Con All-Conference Second Team his freshman year.

Come watch #18 Stefan St. Louis and your MKE Wave take on the rival Baltimore Blast Friday Night, 7pm at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

“Baltimore took two from of us in Baltimore," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. “These are the games you pride yourself in, this is the game you want to play as a player. We look forward to taking care of business on our home turf.”

The MKE Wave enter Friday's game at 8-5 (2nd in MASL Central Division) after an impressive 8-5 win against the Chicago Mustangs last Saturday night. Luan Sales Oliveira leads the Wave with 22 points on 12 goals. Ian Bennett has a team leading 18 goals on the season while forward JC Banks has 13 for the Wave offense.
