MKE WAVE DEFEAT RIVAL COMETS FRIDAY NIGHT AT U.W. MILWAUKEE PANTHER ARENA.

The Milwaukee Wave continued their winning ways Friday night and are still undefeated after taking out the Kansas City Comets at U.W. Milwaukee Panther Arena. Final score, Milwaukee Wave 11, Kansas City Comets 7.

The Wave dominated the first half with 9 unanswered goals. A pair from forward Max Ferdinand, forward Robert Renaud and midfielder Ian Bennett. Wave midfielder / forward Marcio Leite added a goal late in the first half as well.

"I thought it was our most complete first half that we played all season," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero."We thought that game was won and let Kansas City creep back into it in the second half. In the end, a win's a win."

Up next, back to back games next week as the Wave travel to St. Louis to face the Ambush Friday night and then they turn right back around for a game Saturday night at U.W. Milwaukee Panther Arena against the Tacoma Stars.

"Road games in this league are always tough," said Oliviero. "We aren't taking anything for granted and will be working some things this week at practice in hopes of putting our best foot forward for our games next weekend."
