MKE WAVE SLAY LANCERS SATURDAY NIGHT
Your Six-Time Champion MKE Wave got the victory over the Rochester Lancers Saturday night at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, 7-4.
Even though the Rochester Lancers outshot the MKE Wave; 34 to 22, the Wave capitalized on their chances. The Wave had a slow start in the first quarter, with the only goal coming from #26 Ian Bennett. But it was a different story in the second quarter with goals coming from #8 Bato Randoncic, #29 JC Banks and #12 Pablo Da Silva.
Just 16 seconds into the second half the Wave scored a quick goal and scoring his second of the night was #8 Bato Randoncic. #29 JC Banks scored his second goal of the night, thanks to a great ball from #15 Tony Walls. The Wave added one more in the goal in the fourth from #26 Ian Bennett.
It was a great night for the MKE Wave goalkeeper Jeff Richey, with 23 shots on goal, made 19 saves and only allowing 4 goals.

Major Arena Soccer League (MASL):
The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) is the top level of arena soccer in North America. The league was known as the Professional Arena Soccer League when it began play on October 25, 2008. The circuit concluded its sixth season with the Chicago Mustangs claiming the Newman Cup on March 16. On May 19, 2014 the league was reintroduced as the MASL with 24 teams in the US and Mexico. The Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL-Premier) just concluded its 16th season as the nation's top amateur arena soccer league and is the official developmental league of the MASL. Both the MASL and PASL-Premier are members of Confederacion Panamerica de Minifutbol (CPM).
