MKE WAVE WRAPS 2014 WITH PAIR OF GAMES

After enjoying the holidays with family and friends, it's right back to business for your Six-Time Champion MKE Wave with two games at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, Saturday, December 27th at 1pm vs Detroit Waza Flo and Wednesday, December 31st at 3pm vs. the defending champion Missouri Comets.

Saturday, December 27th – 1:05pm
MKE Wave vs Detroit Waza Flo.

“Detroit’s record does not indicate how good of a team they really are,” said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. “They play with a lot of heart and passion and our guys will need to be up to the task.”

The MKE Wave are coming off a 9-3 win over the Tulsa Revolution and are currently in second place in the Major Arena Soccer League Central Division while the Detroit Waza Flo lost their previous game against the Chicago Mustangs 10-9. The Waza Flo sits in fourth place in the Major Arena Soccer League Eastern Division.

In addition to the great Major Arena Soccer League action between the MKE Wave and Detroit Waza Flo, come have some fun and celebrate the 30th anniversary of the movie, Ghostbusters! We’ll show the movie in it’s entirety after the game PLUS…

Todd & Troy Dusosky Jersey Retirement.
In a special Half-Time ceremony, we will retire the jersey numbers of TWO MKE Wave legends, #17 & #19, the Dusosky brothers!
Their numbers will be added the rafters of UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena alongside MKE Wave greats Peter Knezic, Steve Morris and Michael King. Todd & Troy will be on hand at Halftime as we check out career highlight and relive some great memories!

Major Arena Soccer League (MASL):
The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) is the top level of arena soccer in North America. The league was known as the Professional Arena Soccer League when it began play on October 25, 2008. The circuit concluded its sixth season with the Chicago Mustangs claiming the Newman Cup on March 16. On May 19, 2014 the league was reintroduced as the MASL with 24 teams in the US and Mexico. The Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL-Premier) just concluded its 16th season as the nation's top amateur arena soccer league and is the official developmental league of the MASL. Both the MASL and PASL-Premier are members of Confederacion Panamerica de Minifutbol (CPM).
