The Milwaukee Wave 2023/24 Home Opener Announced!

The Milwaukee Wave comes roaring back to home-field action on December 9^th at 6:05 PM, and you won’t want to miss celebrating their 40^th season.

“It’s absolutely amazing to be celebrating 40 years,” said Wave Coach Giuliano Oliviero. “It speaks volumes for the Milwaukee Wave organization; the professionalism they’ve shown, the success that we’ve had over the years, and the players across eras that have garnered us championships. A total model of success both on and off the field -- and, personally, as a long-time member of the organization, I couldn’t be prouder.”

The Wave Home Opener will serve double-duty, also helping Milwaukee get into the holiday spirit with a theme inspired by Enchant Christmas, which the community can check out from November 24 – December 31 at Franklin Field.

The Wave, with a record seven championships under their belt, have a 24-match MASL schedule ahead of them in 2023/24, having gone 15-9 during the 2022/23 campaign before their exit in the MASL Eastern Conference Final round.

“As players, coaches, and staff members of the Wave organization, we feel that we owe it to our fans to put a championship product on the field,” Coach Oliviero noted. “The players we brought in last year are returning, and we’ve added a few more key pieces to the team will only make us stronger.”

Coach Oliviero was quick to give credit where credit is due. “Owner Mike Zimmerman and GM Dan Kuenzi really stepped up with our recent signings. I love the fact that we’re able to not only develop players but bring in proven players as well – players who want to win. It’s huge and that starts at the top.”

On Saturday, November 18 from 6-8 PM at the MOSH Performance Center on the Ballpark Commons campus, ticket package VIPs are invited to get a sneak peek at our roster for the upcoming season with a Preseason Package Holder Party presented by Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital. Fans can visit with the team and coaches, and even try to score a goal on Brad Beach!
