THE WAVE WILL BE HOLDING INVITATIONAL TRYOUTS IN JULY!

MILWAUKEE, July 5 – The Milwaukee Wave will hold invitational tryouts in July at the U.S Cellular Arena, in Milwaukee. The Wave will hold the tryouts on July 15 and16  and will end it with a game on the 17th at 1:00 p.m. The season will start in November, but the season schedule is still to be determined.

The invitational tryouts will be held all day July 15 and 16, and they are open to male soccer players’ ages 18 years and older. College players with remaining eligibility are not permitted in the tryout due the NCAA rules. Current professional players must have a letter of release from their current club in order to participate, or have their coach contact Coach Tozer.

Members of the Wave coaching staff will assess players, including head coach and U.S National Futsal team Coach Keith Tozer.

Many of the current Wave player’s has been discovered through tryouts, 2011 Championship MVP Marcel Feenstra being one of them. It is a great opportunity to get a chance not only to train with professionals, but also to become one.
