“Great to be back in front of our home crowd,” said Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. “They got us back into the game a couple times against what is arguably one of the best teams in the MASL.”

Milwaukee Wave Capitan Ian Bennett was the only player to score for team and put up a hat trick on the night; three goals.

“I’m gutted,” exclaimed Bennett. “So what I scored three goals; we still lost the game in OT and that’s not good enough. Especially when we have a great crowd on hand; we never want to lose at home. We just didn’t have it tonight but we’ll bounce back.”

The Wave will host the St. Louis Ambush Friday night, December 15 at 6:35pm at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

“We need to shake this one off and work on a few things at practice next week,” added Oliviero. “We are prepping for a St. Louis team that we know is a very good and has some depth. It’s our house and we want to protect everything when it comes to getting results in our building.”
